Standard of the Westside at Buttercup Creek Modification Committee
Subject: Satellite Dishes
In an effort to comply with Federal guidelines, the Modifications Committee waives the pre-approval requirement of Section 13 of Article X of the Articles of lncorporation of the WestSide atButtercup Creek Homeowner's Association for compact (DSS type) satellite dishes, given the following provisions, in order of priority:
1) The satellite dish should not be visible from any street; especially Lakeline Boulevard.
2) The satellite dish should conform to all other restrictions, of Section,13, regarding placement, height, etc.
3) The satellite dish should be placed below the roofline of the house, and preferably below the eaves.
4) The satellite dish should not be visible from neighboring yards.
Where conditions of reception quality or excessive cost would prevent adherence to one or more of these criteria, the dish should be painted to match its surroundings (typically the brick or siding color of the house) or otherwise camouflaged to hide the antenna. In case of doubt, the Resident should implement a temporary installation in the proposed location pending approval of the Modifications Committee. The Resident must still submit the installation for approval by the Modifications Committee, even though the pre-approval has been waived. The HOA and the Modifications Committee reserve the right to inspect any installation for compliance to the Restrictions, this addendum, and the Federal guidelines.
