Trails & Caves

Westside At Buttercup Creek is built around and integrated with several permanent cave preserves in the area. The preserves are home to many karst limestone caves.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll in the preserve areas beneath the canopy of oaks and cedars. Or, if you are interested in the challenge of taking the trails by bike, consider joining the Westside Mountain Biking Club.

The caves are maintained for the City of Cedar Park by the Texas Cave Conservancy. The Conservancy sponsors "Cave Day" twice a year, where the public can learn about the caves and explore them as well.
